About Space St. Croix

Space St. Croix was created by Christopher Mick, local space enthusiast. As a kid growing up with a retired pilot father, Chris was exposed to aviation in his California home. As he grew he attended two years of Space Camp, and had he not grown to the height of 6’5”, he would have done everything possible to have traveled into space. He did however grow to be a film-maker and college educator.

When his life brought him to Hudson, Wisconsin, he acknowledged quickly that science was tied to healthcare. Kids didn’t have easy access to an observatory, an air museum, or even the idea that they could go to Space Camp and be a part of the next mission at NASA. Driven 100% by a passion for space and an excitement for inspiring, Space St. Croix was created to bring all the data, stories and excitement out there in the universe, right here to the kids.
